Accessing the Site
Every Kablinga user is issued their own private user name and password at time of registration which must be used to access and use Kablinga. The password and user name may be changed by the parent using the parent’s users name and password to access the user administration tools sections of the site.
Kablinga Kid Safe email
Kablinga email is designed for young children with a strict focus on security and privacy. Users of Kablinga email may only send and receive pre-set, kid-safe phrases to communicate with email addresses that are not on the child’s parent-approved contacts list. Once an email account is added by the parent to the approved communication contact list, the child may use their Kablinga email account to communicate freely with that email address. Parents may edit the list of approved email addresses that their children can correspond with at any time.
Also, any time that your child does communicate with an email list not on their pre-approved list using the pre-set phrases, an email notification is simultaneously sent to the parent’s email account requesting permission to communicate with that email address.
Kablinga Voicemail/pin
The Kablinga system includes a way for parents to call their child and leave supportive messages as a voice audio file in the child’s Kablinga voice mailbox. Only by using the pin number for that child can the parent leave a voice mail message and that pin is not available to anyone but the child’s parent at the time of registration and through the parent’s user administration section of the site.
Parent Approved Social Networking
Children may interact with other kids on the site that are approved in advance by their parents. The forms of interaction that may occur include posting messages on the Kablinga town blimp and sending email messages. Only individuals that are pre-approved by the parent may access this content posted by the child.
Children can see jokes posted in the Comedy Corner section of the Kablinga site which are submitted by any Kablinga user. These entries are monitored by Kablinga staff and appropriate language automated tools to ensure that they are kid-appropriate.
Parent Tools for Monitoring Their Children’s Activity on Kablinga
Parents have several ways to monitor the activities of their children on Kablinga.
First, every parent can log on through their user name as their child to see the Kablinga site as their child does. Also, parents approve all spending requests, contact requests and contract items before they can be activated.
Appropriate Language Filters
Kablinga uses technological filters to constantly monitor the site for inappropriate language and to prevent that language from being used on Kablinga site in any manner.
Child Privacy
Kablinga ensures that children’s identify, information and communication is withheld from any other user access. No child’s information, identify, description or content will be disclosed in any way with any users not previously approved by the parent.

Kablinga is 100% COPPA compliant. We take child safety and privacy very seriously. The COPPA Guidelines are available for review.
